A Sympathy Card for One of My Daughter's Best Friends Mother.

Afternoon everyone, my mouth is much better so didn't bother with Doctor will go and see the Dentist later in the week. I'm off today and I made a card for my Daughter Rachel as one of her best Friends mother has passed away a couple of days ago, its so sad I have known Jane and her mum for a long time and Jane had moved to Australia and her Mum had cancer a few years back and was on remission then it came back with a vengence, poor Jane came over in the summer and was pregnant but had to go home to have her baby in Australia and Came back on Thursday, to discover her mother had passed away as she landed. It's so heartbreaking.

I made this card for her with a Dreamweaver stencil and white pearlescent paste covered each piece with  different coloured glitter with a short pointed straw - trick I learnt from Carol Cockbain. The saying is from an Inkadinkadoo stamp. Again used my little glass beads. I used distress inks on the page to give it a warm feel and made two little bows.

I would like to Thank Christine Dark for my watermark, Christine thank you so much and I still cannot do it correctly !
Well I will end here Lots of Love to all and take care. Hugs JO.xxxx

  1. Hi sweetheart and I'm sorry to read you've had a sore mouth, but from the post above glad it's cleared up and you're feeling better. Also sorry to read about your daughter's friend, that's so very sad. Hope her friend is doing OK anyway and it's such a perfect card you've made for her, I've sure she was comforted by it. Love what you did with the paste and glitter, it's very beautiful. Love and hugs Chris xxx Oh and ps, I see you managed the watermark, we must have a chat about it soon xxx
