My Sister Audrey's Birthday card

Morning Bloggers If you are a Chelsea Fan what a great night My brother was at the Game so he wasn't disappointed eh. My whole family are Chelsea fans from way back. Anyway that's enough of Chelsea We are the champions.
I made a card over the last couple of days for my sister who doesn't blog but it is her birthday on 23rd May this Wednesday. Used one of my favourite stamps again Stamping Bellas Uptown girls I love these new stamps of hers. Coloured her with Copics getting quite a collection now, must just say a thank you to dearest Kay Carley as she has an updated copic chart on her blog.
I have used a Cheery Lynn die Sophies Heart, what a nightmare to cut out, kept turning it around and different machines and finally got one to cut out with the Grand calibur with a shim. I have three Sizzix machines one is the Vagabond which I really didn't want to break! the other is the Pro which I thought would be too big and the Big shot and I have all the adapters for all of them and they didn't work! I used a nestability for the frame and of course Craftwork cards cardstock. The little crown is one of Craftwork cards sayings A princess for the day. The backing paper for the life of me I don't know probably a Bo  Bunny from ages ago.

Well Bloggers hope you have fantastic Sunday I'm off to get my dog and cats flea stuff.
God bless and lots of Hugs JO.xxx

2 Overdue cards.

Evening everyone, sorry have been awol for a couple of months, but have had health issues again. Gladly nearly over, have got a Hiatus hernia and a large fibroid. Thats the gory details over.

Over the weekend, I had one of my sisters over to make cards and she helped me get motivated again as we bounce of each other with ideas. I made a little card using Tim Holtz flower die and a martha stewart deep edge punch with backing papers from the First Edition, Isabelle paper pad. Its very simple but effective. The leaves are the Cheery Lynne Laurel leaves.

I also made a card a couple of weeks ago for my brother-in-law but didn't have time to post as always up the hospitals.
This time I used the Wine Buffs Cd, has good graphics but it could be a little bit more explanatory on how you can put things together. Lucky for me I also bought the rubber stamps to go with it. I made a stepper card, with the downloadable paper. Used my copics, slowly getting better.
Well I do hope you have a lovely evening, cannot get over this weather. We have had all sorts today hail stones, rain, and the sun coming out.
ps. I saw the Queen today, she was going up the Upper Richmond Road East Sheen going to Richmond Park to White Gate Lodge to the Ballet school. She looks so fragile. Cannot wait to celebrate her Jubilee Party.
Night all. God bless keep safe Hugs JO.xxx

Peters Valentine.

Good evening Bloggers, cold enough. I really do not venture out much in this cold it doesn't do any good for my Asthma - which has been good of late.
I made a card for Peter my partner, really its from his dog Possil she's a West highland Terrier and we really love her. I have never had a dog because when I was younger they used to affect my Asthma but having cats it seems my immune system has got used to animals. We got her from an animal shelter in September and she is adorable.
Well here is Peter's card not too elaborate, as you know I just love die cutting and all the dies are from Creating memories in time and they are so reasonable and have lots of discontinued Quickutz dies! http://cmitonlinestore.com/
As you can see its the Westie die and one of the old cherubs with bow. The heart is one of the new ones from Lifestyle crafts  which was formally known as Quickutz,  again I got  the heart from Creating memories as they also carry a lot of new dies too. Teresa the owner is a wonderful lady and so helpful with the posting and always tries to save you money with the postal charges. Teresa also has a blog and so does Lifestyle crafts I have stamped the inside but thats a bit personal to show ha ha.
Hope you all have a wonderful evening. Lots of love. Hugs Jo.xx

Friends 65th

Hi Blogger friends it's me again - don't faint, no post for months and now two days on the trot. I'm off today and done all my chores washing, ironing, cleaning up you know the mundane things in life we women have to do. One of my dear friends was 65 before Christmas and I did manage to take a photo of the card and now can show it. I use mainly Craftwork cards for the base, the backing paper I think was off a sheet of free paper pack from a magazine. Used memory box dies- so easy to Die cut, WOC flowers and Stamp from Nicky and friends by Ladybug crafts coloured in with copics easy little stamp, the 65 made from Quickutz Roxy alphabet. I put tiny little diamanties on the flowers
I am going to make it my new Years resolution - better late than never,  to try and capture my photo's better, I am really rubbish at taking photos to put on my blog. Hope you like it. Have a lovely evening. Big Hugs and love JO.xxx

What a bad month!

Hi bloggers,
Not a good month for me wanted to start to be a better blogger, but unfortunately been rather poorly. Just before the new year I had to have a Gastroscopy and a colonoscopy - at the same time! Have now to wait for results. I have also had to go into hospital 3 times to have blood transfusions because my iron levels had got too low, so at the moment feeling ok. Would you believe I still have to wait until 22nd February to see the hospital doctors so hopefully keeping everything crossed its something that can be rectified quickly.
Now on to a couple of card I made one was for my son who's birthday was before Christmas.
Its a Mo-Manning stamp from Tracy at dies to  die for. The paper is from the Boys collection
by My Minds Eye this is such a good bumper collection to have for Men and boys. The stamps are Penny black and the shape is an inverted label by spellbinders. Coloured in by copics.
The other card is for a very dear friend who lost her husband a week before Christmas, such a shock.
This was made with a dreamweaver stencil and embossing paste. White card and black, just kept it simple as what else can you do. Finished off with a white satin ribbon.
Well hope you all have a lovely evening. Good health and love Jo.xxx

Sorry - Long Time No Blogging

Afternoon Bloggers, Sorry have not posted for ages. Time I got my act together once again ! I have now changed my provider so have gone with Virgin Broadband etc., and guess what kept losing my WiFi connection in the last 3 weeks - Now its up and running perfect fingers crossed. Made a few cards some I will show but some didn't get photographed because I was behind again so had to post them out. First one is my sister Kate's invitation card for her 60th Birthday on Thursday. Her party is next Saturday 26th and I know she has posted them all so I can show and I don't think any of her friends blog.

I used Craftwork cards cardstock again. Martha Stewart heart punch on the left side and a couple of different nesties. Ribbon, button and blue ice gems from Ribbon girl. Invitation word is from an old Psx stamp I had for years. Lots of glitter and sprayed with SU glimmer spray which I mixed up to give it a little shine all over. The embossing folder is a musical note from Crafts too. The inside is another couple of Nesties the heart and labels. Inside the heart I put a magnolia tag with hearts on the bottom with Kates telephone No as a rsvp. The glasses on the old girl is with diamond glaze. Last but not least faithfull copics.
Next card I made with Acetate on the front for my 2nd Daughter Rachels best friend 40th Birthday, not very good at taking photo's with acetate as it reflects a bit. The 40 was cut with my little slice machine which always comes to my aid for Numbers bigger than my Quickutz dies.
The lovely mermaid is from c.c. designs bought from Dies to die for. The shape was cut from the Super large Nesties.

Flower is made up from once again a nestie flower with leaves die. These nesties what would we do without them now. Well I had better go now and get the dinner sorted out. Hope you like them and sorry for once again not blogging. Lots of love and God Bless. JO.xxxxx
