Good morning Bloggers,

Would you believe it my darling little grandson is going to be 1 on Wednesday, how time has flown by and he  is a gorgeous soul. So happy and clever.

This is a card I made for him.
Front of the card It lights up  when you press the  dragons tum
Inside of the card.
The Stamps used are Mama Elephant for the bear and the Dragon and the Big Elephant is a Chloe Stamp. I have used copies, still trying to blend, but Rome wasn't built in a day lol.
The big letters J One and Birthday are Concord & 9th dies so that you can use an outer and inner colour, The paper in the inside of the card was from a bundle of baby papers had long time ago - I think from Tattered Lace.

Well I do hope you like this.

Here are another two cards I found that I did recently but never blogged. One was for my Granddaughter passing her exams to go to University, and the other is  Peters niece's daughter for her 21st  Bothe using Sue Wilson Dies. The Owl is an old Go-Kreate Die I positively love the little animals are from Taylor Expression I've had for yonks.

Well I hope you like them. Bye for now. Have a lovely day, looks like rain again. Where has our summer gone.

Big hugs Jo.

My Niece's Birthday card.

Hi bloggers,

Yes it's me, absent again. I have returned to work for 2 days a week. I sometimes do a week here and there because the girl who took my place when I retired 2 years ago only went and got pregnant ! So I'm helping my old boss out until 1st October and hopefully she comes back after a year off.  I cannot do it any more, it takes 1-1/-2 hours to get to Putney I would drive but it's the parking and so it's not worth my while. Cannot wait, I miss my card making and my Garden. The grandson Gabriel who's coming up to 16 now stays two days a week because his mum has to work.

Well I made this card during the days I wasn't working. I did another but forgot to photo it.
This one is made with Chloe stamps and dies. I do like these stamps and dies, but you have to very gentle peeling them off the plastic sheets there on. They could easily tear which I know about. Lol.
Well here's the card hope you like it

I've got one of these super apple mouse, and for the life of me still cannot use it properly ! Im trying to pick another photo and its not letting me do it, It was one I sent to my mum for Mothers day. Once i get the hang of it I will post because its pink and lovely.

Bye for now and have a lovely day. Work for me tomorrow boo hoo.

Absent again. Got some fabulous news though.

Evening bloggers,
Where has the time gone again. I have been making cards but have not had time to blog them.
But I have some exciting news. My 2nd daughter Rachel after a long time has had a baby! A little boy
Jasper Born on the 9th August 2016. Isn't he a darling. The other bit of news is that my Grand daughter

Francesca got in to Chichester University to study Art and Drama.
This is the card I made for her. It looks a bit dark, but its the colours she likes. The owl is an old die from years ago. The stamps I'm afraid I cannot remember - have a senior moment. When I do I will let you all know lol .
Well bloggers, Hope you like my little bit of news. Weather is definately getting colder, put my heating on tonight. Lots of love and stay warm and safe. Hugs JO. xx

One of my best friends card

Evening bloggers,
You cannot believe it, nor can I. Today I made a card for one of my dearest friends, we have known each other since Secondary school - a long long time ago now lol. I Started off with spellbinders shapes. Stamped with Phil Martin's stamp - I must write down the sets I use, forgive me but will do next time. I do know that I matted and layered it using Sue Wilson square pinpoint dies set A, these are so good to layer up. Ribbon and pearls from stash.

The weather has been on and off today rain & sunshine. I got bored and so I made a carrot and banana cake. Silly me did not have butter for the topping to go with icing sugar and cream cheese, will have to get some tomorrow. Cake looks and smells nice, daren't eat it before topping it.
Well here is my card. Hope you like it.

Have a good evening. Big Hugs JO. xxx

Starting over again!

I thought it's about time I blogged again. It's been a long Journey for me these past two years. I moved to Stoneleigh Epsom on 19th Decembet 2013 ! Yes a week before Christmas and downsized. Lost one of my beautiful cats the black one a week before to old age. I had so much to give away, dump at local waste and to top it all put a lot of stuff in storage!!! Well I was in a very large Victorian house and my basement was just full of craft stuff. If your still with me, I had a summer house built in the garden at the new house. It is absolutely stuffed with craft. I couldn't believe how much stuff I had hidden under my bed, spare bedroom and basement!
I now have to sort it out as I've just about enough room on the table to craft in the summer house, lol.

Well it's my Mums Birthday next Monday 22nd she will be 88 and the family are going to the Emperor in North Cheam.
Here is the card I made for Mum I mainly used Sue Wilson dies. Foundation card and ribbon from my stash.
Hope you like it. While I'm here have you seen Kay Carleys new stamps! they are wonderful I have bought both as you do lol. Kay has a class at Lingfield, unfortunately I cannot go as I have already got appointments that day, but hopefully can get to the next one she does. Well I'll end here God bless and have a good night. Jo. xxx

Hi I'm Back

Good morning bloggers, well whats been happening, lots. New Year went to Abu Dhabi to see Peter my other half's family had a really good time weather was hot and even went on the beach/desert on New years' day!. Came back and got a nasty bug probably from the Aeroplane. Didn't do a lot of cards had no mojo and still don't know where its gone!!!. Been to 2 classes at the Craftbarn to do entirely something different, made a couple of fold over books with magnets and things very intriguing with Cathy Byrnes.  I must be getting really slow as I didn't finish either of them luckily I took photo's of the end products and finished them off at home. - Told you not much going on in my head. Did a lovely copic class with the superb Chris Dark who took over from Jane Collman as she had burnt her leg rather badly. Thank you Chris was the most pleasant surprise I've had for a long time. Well here is a card I made for Peter's friend who was 50 last week, I didn't go to the party as wasn't feeling too good also I've still got this head cold - taking only honey and lemon and sore throat lozengers as I really don't want to take anti-biotics unless I really am dying!
Well here it is

Its for two people as they were twins. The top is for Kevin his friend and his twin Sister Sharon.
Used the Quickutz big football for the O and a Memory box circular flower for her O. The 5 I cut from my little slice machine which is very handy for this size letters. I cut little quickutz footballs and also little beer jugs for his name which I cut out from Lingfield dies from Go-Kreate.
I put little pearls where the flowers were on Sharons' O and cut her name out of another quickutz die. I have load of alphabet dies from different companies and people who know me know I have literally lots! I put little footballs down the side which I got from a bead company years ago sorry don't remember which one. The Union jack ribbon is from Docrafts.

Here is the inside of the card I have got a cd from the Wine buffs which has lovely beer bottles and lovely paper I am not a lover of Cds but I find this one useful. I have used a lovely spellbinders to put the words in.
Well bloggers hope you are having a lovely Sunday, the sun is shinning and I've actually put some washing out. Lots of love Keep well there's lots of nasties about, they say its going to be nicer from Tomorrow- Hope so. Hugs JO.xx
