Kay carley class at the Craft Barn.

Good afternoon, what a glorious day, been looking after the grand children, washing and tidying up the home so while they are watching cbbc I have 5 minutes lol.  I was at the Craftbarn with the wonderful Kay carley and had a nice surprise, her hair was a different colour and when I walked in the room didn't notice it was her !! Well Kay its lovely.
In the morning we made two cards with Kays own flitters and flutters stamps. Made our own background using distress inks again, also copics and lots of spica  colour pens and stickles glue.

In the afternoon we made another two cards again with Kays own stamps swirley flutters and florals- phew which I own both sets otherwise that would have cost me a pretty penny- Mind you, you get a lot of stamps for your money.
Again we made our own background and stamped words and flourishes. We had a ribbon which we coloured to match the flowers. Nesties were used which Kay kindly had prepared for us all.  Hope you like them.  Well have a nice evening the grandchildren have got bored, now want a DVD on - suggested Brad Pitt but got boos well from the young grandson Gabriel, but yes from granddaughter Francesca. Was hoping to put my little cats on the blog to show but another day.  Lots of Love and Hugs to all.

Tidy or what.

Good morning ladies and gents. Lovely bright gorgeous day again. As you can see I had a good tidy up and mostly everything is in their place. My work table has a few things on it to do - yeah you say, but I have got to finish them by Friday. I started on the Christening card. Firstly I will show you my desk and return. I am using A WS design template of a church. The cute baby is a LOTV baby stamp. The little dress  I cut out from vellum and added pearls and coloured in with copics for the leaves, flowers and face, also glitter glue. Its now just a matter of assembling. I embossed the door and window frames in Gold detail embossing powder. You see that cute cat stamp, its going to be made into a card today as I am off looking after the grandchildren and they can make a card good excuse eh to get on with mine. The boxes mounted up on the side has all the little embellishments and the lovely cupcake boxes on the left have my unmounted stamps  one is LOTV, one has Stamping bella, and the flowery one has crafty individuals and girly stamps in.
Doors shutting
Cute baby - oh must colour the window pane.
Well I'm off now to look at other peoples blogs before my grandchildren awake. Lots of love to all

Wedding Card

Good morning Bloggers,
I feel better today. Been up since 6.30 am this morning, cleaning the house from top to bottom. I might have told you already but I am selling my house which is a large 4 bedroom and there is only myself and Peter and my Gorgeous Son Edward living in this too big old house.
Edward went last night to his Cousins wedding and I made him a lovely card. I used some lovely card, sorry cannot remember where I got it from and covered it with glitter vellum which I have had for ages. Used the lovely Martha steward heart punches which I got from the Craftbarn they have some lovely punches - loads. I doubled them up and cut another two from pearlescent paper, punched two holes in the front and tied a lovely organza and silver edged ribbon to make a bow.
The inside is a lovely stamp from LOTV the lovely wedding couple. Used my copics to colour and also the Nesties. I used some more vellum for the back of the picture and added a lovely sentiment from Whiff of Joy on a nestie tag with the ribbon going through. As you can see a lot of stickles glitter has been added. On the dress I put some little pearl beads which again I got from the Craft barn.
Well dear friends, I am now going to make myself a well deserved fresh coffee.
Have a lovely weekend lot of love Jo xxx p.s. don't forget to comment I do read them and thank you. xx

Birthday card for my niece.

Hi everyone is it blusterry where you are. I'm home this afternoon wasn't feeling too well so boss sent me home. So what do I do come home and go straight onto my computer. Just wanted to show you a card I made for my niece, who's birthday is today she has probably already received this card so I can show you.
Its one of the lovely Whiff of Joy stamps. My niece does like to shop like most of us girlies. The papers are last years Papermania stack which has such lovely pastel colours. The Birthday girl is a Penny black stamp I've had for ages. I made the flower from a blog that showed you how to make a pom pom flower by wetting it scrunching it up and then spraying it with glimmer mist and edging it with copic  pens. Again I used one of my Nesties for the shape. The scroll on the top of the card is a little stampin up one I think I got in a kit. I've put lots of stickle around the shape to make it all sparkley.
I hope you like it. Please leave a comment I love all your comments good or bad I do read them all.
See how I feel, will upload another card made for my Son who's going to a wedding tomorrow.
Thanks for now
Lots of Love Jo.xxx

Yvonne's 60th Birthday card.

Hi everyone, well hope you're enjoying the heat - ha ha. Its a lot cooler today. Went to a lovely 60th Birthday party last nigh left at a reasonable time 11-15pm, had a good o'l boogy and drank moderately because I am at slimmers world trying to get some excess fat off - blubber really. Anyway I digress The card is made from Good old craftwork cards basic white card then lots of stampin up papers which are really nice from their new collection Rich razzleberry, also the punch is their birdy punch really cute.
I used the Sizzix pop up card middle and also their strip which says happy birthday. the th is from Go-Kreate caption and numbers 775003 which is really useful. Sorry don't know how to link items yet so if any of you kind bloggers know please email/comment me with it, thanks in anticipation !  Well bloggers here is my card.

Silly me took the photo after I had signed it because I forgot to take it before.
This is the close up. I do like stamping thats my favourite but also like die cutting, sometimes it gets fiddly with the pokey tool and taking bits out but on the whole it does look nice. Hope you agree and have a very happy Sunday - I hope Spain wins tonight as they have never got to a  cup final so good luck.
Love to all of you lovely bloggers.

Belles' an Whistles New Baby stamp.

Hi All, get me two posts in one day, its only because I posted too quick the last one.

I saw this stamp and knew it was for her, quite easy not a lot of colouring thank goodness. I used copics again and glitter glue and nesties. The big flower is a Magnolia one with lace and the little rosebuds from Ally Pally. The cardstock is from Craftwork cards their lovely coloured smooth best card- as usual don't know the name.

Well I do hope you like my cards.Oh the ribbon on the bottom I got ages ago from Stamp Addicts it was on a little roll.

Please leave a comment I do read and appreciate them. So thanks once again Have a good night and big Hugs

Afternoon with Christine Dark.

Yesterday afternoon I went on a class at the Craftbarn with Christine Dark Wow! Did I get messy, more ink on me than the card !!! . We distressed, acrylic painted, embossed, then sandpapered, spritzed, more on arms - less said, the cosmic shimmer spray got blocked and I was last to use so hence should have taken a photo.- Guess what I forgot and had WHITE trousers on but I was careful, kept washing my hands - methinks the ladies might have thought I had a condition haha. Yes Mental. Anyway It was the Tim Holtz birdcage and bird die - if you look close my bird is well fed up because he was too high in the cage. When you see Christine's her one is just perfect - well it should be. Well we finished early and I had a great laugh so thanks Christine.
