WOYWW 86

Morning Bloggers,
I have got the terrible lurgy thats going around at the moment nose dripping you know the signs, even had a Flu jab and still got the nasty. Well today I am showing four cards that I made when I visited the Craftbarn on Saturday, where I had a class with the lovely Carol Cockbain. We made some lovely Valentine cards and a couple of Birthday cards. The class was very interesting as we used some of the new cuttlebug folders, mixture of metal leafing and of course the usual Martha Stewart punches - what did we do before these delightful punches stormed our shores !! Jenny Mayes of Hobby Art was there demoing and she gave me the lovely poppy that you can see on my table. Of course I bought a few stamps Jenny Mayes Poppy one and Paperartsy Hot Picks HPXT04EZ as it had a lots of lovely wording on it, a few Tando cut boards one said Mum and the other is a sweetheart shape. My Mums Birthday is next month so I should be well ahead instead of rushing!!!
Well Bloggers hope you have a fantastic day and do go and see the Queen of Desks herself the delightful JULIE who started this craze.
Lots of love and Hugs JO.xxxx

  6. Lovely care and work in those cards...glad you still did the workshop despite the lurgy

Hope you get better soon - had exactly the same for weeks and felt 1000 times worse after the jab!

  7. Oh dear - not to worry about the nose job - I had it when I arrived but it cleared up in about a week so I think the flu jab stops it going full blown.
Lovely cards - some great inspiration there. Thanks for sharing.

  14. Those are such beautiful cards - I really love them, the designs and the colours. Hope your lurgy soon gets better. It seems to last about 3-4 weeks before you really feel better, but plenty of vitamin C can help a lot.

  16. Sorry I didn't visit last week and now you are sick this week, yet still came to check in on me. For that I am very grateful. I can tell those stamps are British or maybe Canadian in design, since here in the States we call our mothers "MOM," not "MUM." Get to feeling better so you can play with all that new stash. I really like the looks of all those Valentine cards. You got a lot out of that class! Happy belated WOYWW from #10.
