Hi I'm Back

Good morning bloggers, well whats been happening, lots. New Year went to Abu Dhabi to see Peter my other half's family had a really good time weather was hot and even went on the beach/desert on New years' day!. Came back and got a nasty bug probably from the Aeroplane. Didn't do a lot of cards had no mojo and still don't know where its gone!!!. Been to 2 classes at the Craftbarn to do entirely something different, made a couple of fold over books with magnets and things very intriguing with Cathy Byrnes.  I must be getting really slow as I didn't finish either of them luckily I took photo's of the end products and finished them off at home. - Told you not much going on in my head. Did a lovely copic class with the superb Chris Dark who took over from Jane Collman as she had burnt her leg rather badly. Thank you Chris was the most pleasant surprise I've had for a long time. Well here is a card I made for Peter's friend who was 50 last week, I didn't go to the party as wasn't feeling too good also I've still got this head cold - taking only honey and lemon and sore throat lozengers as I really don't want to take anti-biotics unless I really am dying!
Well here it is

Its for two people as they were twins. The top is for Kevin his friend and his twin Sister Sharon.
Used the Quickutz big football for the O and a Memory box circular flower for her O. The 5 I cut from my little slice machine which is very handy for this size letters. I cut little quickutz footballs and also little beer jugs for his name which I cut out from Lingfield dies from Go-Kreate.
I put little pearls where the flowers were on Sharons' O and cut her name out of another quickutz die. I have load of alphabet dies from different companies and people who know me know I have literally lots! I put little footballs down the side which I got from a bead company years ago sorry don't remember which one. The Union jack ribbon is from Docrafts.

Here is the inside of the card I have got a cd from the Wine buffs which has lovely beer bottles and lovely paper I am not a lover of Cds but I find this one useful. I have used a lovely spellbinders to put the words in.
Well bloggers hope you are having a lovely Sunday, the sun is shinning and I've actually put some washing out. Lots of love Keep well there's lots of nasties about, they say its going to be nicer from Tomorrow- Hope so. Hugs JO.xx
