WOYWW68

Morning Bloggers. Another whats on your workdesk Wednesday. Morning dew on the cars, it's getting a bit chilly in the mornings. I have been a little busy girl - like that word made a start on my Christmas cards and did a little bit of shopping. If your wondering what I'm wittering about, go to the lovely Julia's blog and you can see all the other WOYWW I think it's gone over 159 well that's a lot of desks to snoop over. Blogger was being bad last week, on a lot of posts kept getting error code when you type in a few comments and then blogger didn't want to co-operate it's a little daunting, so I'm sorry that I didn't get around to everyone.

Well this is whats on my workdesk. Two Christmas cards - Sarah look I said I would start. The cardstock is from StampinUp as well as the stamps. I got these from Monica Gale she had them on her blog so I had to get them. I have some new stamps, two from Penny Black which I got from a Cardmaking company for joining them and the other with the lady is from Inkadinkadoo which I got from Lavenderlane crafts in Stoneleigh. I do have a few other stamps on my desk from stamps away I think which I got from Ally Pally a few years ago, so they have come out as they have Christmas Messages. Tinkerbell pencil case I just adore Tinkerbell, which holds my copic spica pens because you have to store them horizontal apparantely.
I did make a card for Peters friend who is retiring on Friday and of course he said to me at the last minute make a card for me. Here it is a bit simple but hey he's only a man he he.
Bazzil bling cardstock navy and light blue sorry don't know colours have had them ages. Words cut out from from Go-Kreate -Lingfield alphabet. Nestie fancy die cut, embellishment from a pack from Personnel Impressions I won ages ago with lots of other men papers - came in handy eh. Chelsea topper from stash have had for ages. Happy retirement wording from woodware think its Francoise Reeds words. Well I don't want to bore you all to death. So have a lovely day and Big hugs to all. JO xxxx

WOYWW67

Good Morning, not a nice day today, damp and dingy. Thank you all that sent me such kind wishes, my sore throat was a little better next day but lost my voice a bit. Still managed to get to the Craftbarn for their weekend of demo's. Went on Saturday and chatting to some lovely people. Kay Carley, Christine Dark, Helen Chilton who was such a funny person, Liz Welch etc. There were quite a few tables I went to but didn't chat they were so busy and such marvelous works being done. Of course I bought a few Goodies, such as a few Copic pens that I didn't have, some shrink plastic I thought I would have a go at. Anyway you want to know whats on my work desk ha ha.
As you can see I am in the process of making a couple of Birthday cards. I downloaded a Pink Petticoat Lola for my friend and I am going to colour her in with promarkers,  I usually do copics but as I had these from ages ago I thought I would give them a try. I cut out a nice shape with the Marianne Design Die. I am also going to do a couple of Christmas cards this week, I can see my friend Sarah saying yeah pigs might fly, I say to her every year I am going to start early so Sarah watch this space he he.
The little cat with her christmas hat is an old Hero's Art stamp I had for yonks so thought I might do a couple of easy cards with her, I say her because it looks so cute. Well that's enough of me rambling on go and look at all the other desks and especially the lady herself who started this Julia the numbers are increasing every week. Bye for now and have a lovely day Lots of love and Hugs JO. xxxx

GOOD Morning Bloggers, another day and I'm off and so I can blog to my hearts content after I have done the usual chores, cleaning changing bed linen washing you know the drill. Enough she says. I really didn't have time last week as said in my previous post. But this is what's on my desk this morning. I started last night after the grandchildren had gone to bed. It's the start of a 40th Birthday card using Master of Arts Tim Holtz Swirls, and also Quickutz swirls and Quickutz letters.

I did see on a blog ages ago a circle made with swirls and I am trying to do something a little different but with the letters Mum inside. I will add some delightful Wild Orchid flowers and see how it goes. I have just received my new toy the Holder for my applicator tools. Oops my camera case is showing.

Well I do hope you have a good day you will have to pop over to the lady herself who started this craze which has been fantastic. The one and only Julia Dunnit. I'm now off to have a nosey. Lots of love JO.xxx

Birthday card

Evening bloggers, sorry have been absent for over a week. Had loads to do at work showing flats as the season for Post grad etc now looking for places to stay before their term starts. Had a nice relaxing day on Sunday so caught up and made a few cards. One I will show you later when the recipient has received it.
This one is for my sister Irene who's Birthday is next Monday, already posted. Made with Martha Stewart Punch around the page Square nestie and Wild Orchid Crafts roses with another Martha Stewart Punch. I think the stamp is a Mo Manning from the Craftbarn

The next one is for my friend who is only 43 and has had a stroke doctors said it was the heat and sent her home only for her to go next day with her face dropped on one side !
This one was made with a lovely LOTV stamp and again Martha Stewart Punch, don't you just adore her Punches. Nesties were used again, the paper background was from the Nitwit collection at the Craftbarn. The message is from a set from Whiff of Joy.

This one is for one of my best buddies. Cathy has a birthday on Sunday, I know she will not see this as her internet has gone down.
This was again made with another Martha Stewart Punch around the page, butterflies. This is probably one of my  favourites. Again Wild Orchid flowers. The Stamp is one of the tea cup girls from the Craftbarn called Tabitha. She reminds me so much of Cathy when she was much younger.  Oh I forgot, all the colouring has been done with copics, still getting used to them, but do love them. The green around the circle is velvet papers from Sie I bought from QVC. Have to show you the inside.
The Stamp inside is a Penny Black I have had for ages but it really is so useful. Well I hope I can blog tomorrow as its WOYWW and I so missed last week going on everyones blog and being nosey.

I have the Grandchildren staying tonight, so will try and make another card when they have gone to bed its for Peters friend who's wife is 40 and its got to be done by Thursday and lots going through my head. Well If you have come to the end of this without closing, I thank you and hope you all have a wonderful evening. Love and Hugs Jo.xx
