My Daughter Rachels Birthday

Hi everyone, I am showing you a card I made for my daughter Rachel who has a Birthday on 24th May, She has to go to Switzerland tomorrow on business so I am giving her, her card and present to take with her.
The card was made with LOTV stamp fairy with presents. I do love fairies ! The background paper is Tim Holtz again I do love his 12 x 12 pad it has so many lovely blues and pinks and not too heavy. I used the oval nesties and lots of glitter glue and a lovely magnolia flower which I purchased from the Glitter pot. I used some bright pink ribbon which I have had for ages, I think I bought it from culove in rolls of different colours ages ago. The branches on the flowers are from a leon-em punch that has lots of leaves on it.  Hope you like it.

My Dear Friend Pats 70th.

Hi everyone, got another card to show, I made this card for a very dear friend who is 70 next week. I have sent it off and I know she will not see it on my blog  because she isn't a blogger.
Its made with acetate and Craftwork cards card and their lovely curly flower sayings. Made up the flowers with their pointy flowers, stamped the front of the acetate with white stazon with a penny black scroll. Put little chocolate and marshmallo card candy. I cut out the big 70 and also the Birthday Girl. Made a little corner scroll to finish it off. On the front of the card I put a little bow with a heart saying made with love, which I got from the Hobby house.
Hope you are all having a lovely day. Its a glorious sunshine day and I have been out in the garden steam cleaning the patio and tidying up in general. I have a lady coming to see the house on Saturday as I have decided to sell once again.

Brother-in-Laws Birthday.

Hi everyone, a better day today. Still a bit cold. Went to my sisters house today as it was my brother-in-laws birthday yesterday.  We had a nice meal and watched Chelsea play hurray they won 8.0 . Made a nice card for him using one of Mo Mannings digitals. Made an easel card and put a few added items with Go-Kreate wine bottle and glass. The Papers used were Bo-bunny I've had for ages and My minds eye. The Main stamp is a Hobby Art one i've had some time and the small one is a Stamping up one. I can show this now as my brother -in-law has got it and will not mind if I show . Hope you like it. Well I'm off now to Blogg hope. Have a nice evening.

Sympathy Card.

Hello everyone. Not a nice note today. I have to go to a funeral tomorrow of a dear friend Sandra who has lost her only daughter to Cancer. - A little note, if you keep suffering from headaches and go to the Doctor who fobs you off with migraine please take note it doesn't go on for months maybe in some cases but when you don't normally suffer headaches, please please get another opinion. My friend Sandra's daughter was only 46 and once she had enough of her headaches went to the hospital and guess what it was a brain tumour and very cancerous at that and poor darling it was all over her body so she didn't stand a chance. I know from experience about this because my ex husband had the same but lucky he survived a brain tumour operation. He did live for another 15 years but sadly he died this year. I have made this card for her I kept it really plain as what else can you do but show them that you care and are thinking of them at this sad loss.

Hope you like it  It was made on Craftwork cards 8x8 cards and the flower was made with a Tim Holtz sizzix die just two parts of it and scrunched up and a little glitter glue put on it. I Cut out the shapes with nesties, I call it jelly plastic was cut with the  large nestie and then layered white card which was dry embossed with a Dreamweaver cross stencil, it doesn't show very well, so I put glitter glue on the outside of the cross to stand out. On the ribbon I put a little Angel which you can barely see.
